First Medical Field Trip!

Gundersen Lutheran here we come!!!

First, the doctors taught us about the fields they work in: Nuclear Medicine, Diagnostic Radiology (X-ray), and Diagnostic Medical Sonography (Ultrasound).

Then, we got to see them at work!

We saw an ultrasound of George's stomach!

And of Jessie's neck!

We learned about how X-rays work and saw some gnarly broken bones! Eww!

And got to see where they conduct nuclear medical tests! Some brave seventh graders got into the CT scanner!

A big THANKS to all the doctors who allowed us to visit the hospital! We learned a lot and had a great time! :)

Goodbye Levern!

Last week we had to say goodbye to one of our Medical Partnership students!

Levern is moving to Minnesota! To help remember him the students threw him a small going away party! We're going to miss you!

One last football chant!

Thanks Audrey and Jenny for making this AWESOME presentation!

Levern, we wish you the best of luck in your journey to Minnesota! Don't forget about us at Lincoln!
